Scenic Path

The project, of which 800m are already complete, is set within a broader intervention for the city of Igualada that seeks to generate paths and cycle lanes in the form of a green belt around the edge of the city. This new green mobility crosses a very run-down site where gypsum used to be mined, a place later used as a waste transfer station, with problems of runoff damage and landslips. The proposal has two main objectives: connectivity, continuing the city-scale project, and landscape and biodiversity recovery, to generate a new dynamic that will gradually improve its environmental conditions.

Monolithic House

To create a quality living experience and redefine the image of a residential building in Jeddah, while maintaining the climate requirements and cultural aspects including privacy and gender segregation, were the main design challenges. The designer conceptual idea was to explore the architecture relation between indoor and outdoor spaces, through a composition of three main masses that were shifted to create external courts inspired from Arabic traditional houses.

Eco Ocean

Eco Ocean frames are made from recycled ocean plastic, because plastic has no place in the ocean. Eco teamed up with the NGO Waste Free Oceans to source old ropes from the maritime industry found in the ocean and on shorelines. The waste material is shredded and molded into pellets which in turn are injection molded into frames. The collection consists of bold yet easy-to-wear frames. They are lightweight and super comfortable with a smooth, matte finish in ocean-inspired shades. Each frame comes in a case made from recycled PET fabric.

Born With Legend

As the main supportive facility serving the surrounding residential areas, Born With Legend community center takes into consideration its function as both a physical space for public venues and as a visual landmark of the city. The project creates an open space within a confined urban fabric while also meeting the architectural demarcation requirements of urban planning. The interior space and the exterior venue are divided into two distinct rectangular spaces but are joined together by a curved plane that forms between the two areas.

Wenlan Mansion

The project is located in the tourism section of West Mountain's Dian Lake, Kunming. Facing the West Mountain, the site offers an open view and is surrounded by an abundance of ecological resources. The project leverages the height differences of the area and its surrounding landscape resources. The architect strives to create vertical buildings with both style and functions, and to build an open community that shares both urban like neighbourhood and the green resources of nature at the same time.

Imperial Mansion

The project is located in the city center of Yuhuan, Taizhou, close to the Yuhuan Grand Theater and the Yuhuan Passenger Transport Center. The area is further characterized by a complete set of living facilities, healthy traffic flow, a refreshing natural environment, and a developed transportation system. The richness of commerce and life are all gathered here. Serving as an important part of a broader urban renewal plan, this project hopes to integrate a new attitude towards the future into the current local culture.
